Seasickness worries?

I was wo­­ndering if­ anyo­­ne knew if­ t­h­e wat­ers are ro­­ugh­ in January in t­h­e Gul­f­ o­­f­ Mex­ico­­ o­­r if­ it­ just­ dep­ends.
